Healthcare Assistants
Litcham Health Centre employs its own community team which consists of nurses and healthcare assistants. The team is responsible for visiting patients with medical needs in the community. The healthcare assistants also provide proactive patient care by monitoring our patients using state of the art computer systems to help care for those in need.

Phlebotomists
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
